bao zhong is a taiwanese reserve grade pouchong tea. taiwan is known for its lightly oxidized ("green oolong") pouchong teas, and bao zhong is revered among taiwanese pouchongs for its decadently complex floral taste; its mysterious unfolding of flavors; its sweet, lingering finish; and its gorgeous emerald green leaves. at urbāna, we liken drinking bao zhong to receiving flowers from an unknown admirer.
